Why Magnesium Supplementation?

Last week I had an appointment with my GP for a general health check. He recommended that I supplement my diet with magnesium. Why Mg?

Emerging evidence suggests that nearly two-thirds of the population in the western world is not achieving the recommended daily allowance for magnesium.

The maintenance of adequate Mg levels can have a profound impact on many common clinical conditions routinely seen and managed by health practitioners.

Over and above the use of Mg supplementation to help in preventing various cardiac arrhythmias, migraine headaches, metabolic syndrome, diabetes and diabetic complications and premenstrual syndrome, magnesium should also be considered as an adjunct for depression and attention deficit disorder.

Enough good reasons for a magnesium supplement? I think so!
